The Bird'n'boys have been playing danceable, energy-driven rock, country and blues since 2006. Two guitars, bass, drums and three vocalists provide a full, diverse sound with only four members.
ELLEN SACKMAN (vocals, rhythm guitar) started singing with bands at age 15 in Bristol, England, spent the 80’s working in a wedding band, and more recently has performed in TIN ROOF (rock), the BLACK MOON BAND (country), and as a solo acoustic artist.
JEFF BREWER (bass, vocals) has years of performing experience as vocalist and bassist for original progressive rock bands HOLDING PATTERN and AFTER THE FALL, opening for Eddy Money, Saga, Twisted Sister, Steve Morse, Kansas and Rick Wakeman.
MIKE FINER (lead guitar, vocals) has been playing professionally for years and has played with the best in the business, including Michael Bolton, Annie of CANYON, HARD ATTACK and the BLACK MOON BAND (opening for Brooks and Dunn at the Meadows).
MIKE POSSER (drums) has been playing in the NY and CT music scene since pre-teen age, working with the WPLR Breakfast Band to original bands BIG DEAL and PRESIDENTIAL TARGETS, and tribute bands SIBERIAN KHATRU (‘Yes’) and ODDS AND SODS (‘Who’).
